Carpentry

The Carpentry career pathway is a 3-year program that offers hands-on application, state-of-the-art technologies, and individualized curriculum.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Safety, hand and power tools, blueprint design, project layout, concrete forms, framing of floors/walls/roofs, interior and exterior finishing techniques, material estimation are some of the key areas of the program. Students can elect to further their abilities by exploring trim carpentry, furniture making, computer aided drafting, as well as CNC applications.

CAREER FOCUS

The Carpentry program provides students of all levels an opportunity to enter the field based on one’s interest and ability level, including a direct pathway to the PA Carpenters Union which offers high wages and a free 2 year college degree.
