Auto Collision - Grinding

This course prepares students to learn and apply foundational knowledge and skills they will need in computer software and related fields. They’ll learn to design, build and support computer programs, websites, databases and other software driven technologies such as robotics and mobile devices. Students will begin by receiving instruction in computing fundamentals such as PC hardware, basic software operation, basic networking and the Internet. From this point on, students will be exposed to many elements of the software industry. They will learn to create websites from the ground up in a standards oriented curriculum, model and create relational databases, build and program robots to complete various tasks and learn to write computer programs in a number of different languages including JavaScript and Python. In addition to these technical skills, students will learn about business ethics and law, office safety and operations, teamwork, logic, critical thinking skills and open-ended problem solving techniques.
